Television actress Rubina Dilaik has revealed that host and filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s encouragement played a key role in her decision to return to the stunt-based reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ for its 15th season.
In a heartfelt appreciation post on Instagram, Rubina described Rohit as more than just the host of the show, calling him a mentor and a constant source of encouragement whose faith in her made a personal difference.
“There are people you meet professionally, and then there are people who leave a mark on you personally. Rohit Shetty sir, you have been that person for me,” she wrote.
The actress, known for shows such as ‘Chotti Bahu’ and her stint on ‘Bigg Boss’, said Rohit has a special ability to make people feel “seen, supported and capable of more than they believe they can do”.
Rubina also directly credited his guidance and encouragement for motivating her to take on the challenge of another season.
“If I’m being completely honest, you were one of the biggest reasons I came back for another season,” she said, adding that his encouragement, guidance and faith in her made her want to “take that leap again”.
She expressed gratitude for his contribution to the show as well as the personal impact he has had on her, saying ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ would not be the same without his energy and leadership.
Calling Rohit one of the finest hosts Indian television has seen, Rubina also praised him as a wonderful mentor and an even more wonderful human being.
She concluded her post by thanking him for the impact he may not even realise he has had on contestants like her.
