If you are someone who is waiting for Skoda Octavia, then mark your calendars because the 2025 Skoda Octavia RS is arriving in India on October 17, 2025. But here is the catch that only 100 units will be sold, which makes it one of the rarest performance sedans on Indian roads.
Bookings & Launch
Pre-bookings for Octavia RS starts on October 6, 2025, only through Skoda India’s official website. Prices will be revealed at launch on October 17 and deliveries starts from November 6. We expect the price tag to be in the range of Rs 45-50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Power & Performance
Under the hood, the Octavia RS packs a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which produces 265 hp and 370 Nm of torque. With its 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, this car sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds and can hit a top speed of 250 km/h. Adding to that is its sport-tuned suspension, sharp steering, and upgraded brakes which gives you a sedan built for thrill-seekers.
Looks
This beast comes with a gloss-black grille, RS badges, sleek matrix LED headlights, dual-tone alloys- 18 or optional 19-inch, blacked-out trim, and twin exhausts which gives it aggressive yet attractive looks.
Sporty Yet Practical Inside
Looking at the interior, you will get an all-black cabin with red stitching, sporty seats, and a flat-bottom RS steering wheel. Tech highlights include a massive 13-inch touchscreen, a 10-inch digital cockpit, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and dual-zone climate control. Despite being sporty, it is still practical with 600 litres of boot space which is expandable to 1,555 litres.
Safety & Tech
The Octavia RS doesn’t just focus on speed, but it is safe too. You get 10+ advanced safety features including multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, ADAS driver aids, tyre pressure monitoring, and electronic stability control.
One Missing Feature
The India-spec RS will not get the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) that’s available internationally, which means you can’t adjust suspension settings.
Why It’s Special
The Octavia RS is more than just a fast car, but it’s a cult classic and a feeling for Octavia fans. With only 100 cars coming to India as CBU imports, it’s going to be a rare sight, and collectors are already eyeing it.
