The teaser of Sharwanand’s upcoming film Bhogi has created strong interest with its raw visuals, intense action and striking rural setting. Directed by Sampath Nandi, the period action drama is set in the 1960s along the Telangana–Maharashtra border and explores a world shaped by feudal oppression and violence.
Sharwanand plays Kammari Ganga, a blacksmith who is pushed into a fight against the powerful forces controlling his village. The teaser presents him in a rugged avatar, with his intense dialogue delivery standing out. The visuals capture the suffering of the villagers, physical labour, police clashes and Ganga’s determination to fight back.
Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayati play the female leads. The rustic setting, folk elements and blood-soaked action give Bhogi a distinct atmosphere, while the teaser builds curiosity around Ganga’s journey and his fight against his enemies.
Produced by KK Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts, Bhogi features music by Bheems Ceciroleo. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 12, 2026.
