  • According to Drik Panchang, Jyeshtha Shukla Ekadashi Tithi will start from 06:12 pm on 24th June.
  • This Ekadashi tithi will end on June 25 at 08:09 pm.

In such a situation, in view of Udayatithi, this year Gayatri Jayanti will be celebrated on 25th June.

Gayatri Jayanti Puja Method

On the day of Gayatri Jayanti, when you wake up in the morning, first meditate on Mata Gayatri. Then after bathing, keep the picture of Mata Gayatri at the worship place of the house. After this, light a ghee lamp in front of Mata Gayatri. Offer flowers, Akshat, Roli, sandalwood and sweets to Vedmata Gayatri. Men should especially chant Gayatri Mantra on this day. Gayatri Mantra- Chant “Om Bhurbhuvah Swah Tatsaviturvarenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat” at least 27 and maximum 1008 times. At the end of the puja, perform Aarti of Mata Gayatri.
