During the meeting, Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal demanded from the Commission that elections should be conducted immediately after Chhath Puja and they should be completed in two phases so that both administrative pressure and the expenses of the candidates are reduced. He also suggested that every voter should be sent SMS reminder 24 hours before the voting and CCTV monitoring should be done at all booths. Also demanded to take out the flag march of paramilitary force in Diara and Naxalite affected areas.

JDU also said that special security arrangements should be made at polling stations of backward, extremely backward, Dalits and Mahadalit communities, so that there is no pressure or fear of any kind.
