Honda 2W Sales Sep 2026 At New High – Domestic 6.36 L, Total 7.06 L

Honda recorded its highest-ever monthly sales across domestic and export markets, with total volumes growing 24.31% YoY to 7,06,266 units

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India recorded a milestone September 2026, with domestic sales, exports and combined volumes all reaching their highest-ever monthly levels. Total sales stood at 7,06,266 units, compared with 5,68,164 units in September 2025, registering 24.31% growth.

Domestic Sales Reach Record 6.37 Lakh

Honda’s domestic two-wheeler sales reached 6,36,768 units in September, up from 5,05,693 units a year earlier. This represents an increase of 1,31,075 units, or 25.92%. Compared with August’s 5,17,329 units, domestic volumes grew 23.09%, adding 1,19,439 vehicles in a single month.

Exports Hit New Monthly High

Honda exported 69,498 two-wheelers in September 2026, its highest-ever monthly overseas volume. This compares with 62,471 units in September 2025, translating to growth of 11.25%, or an additional 7,027 units. Exports also improved over August’s 61,833 units, rising 12.40%. Overseas markets contributed 9.84% of the September total.

With both domestic and export operations growing on annual and monthly comparisons, Honda’s combined sales crossed the 7 lakh mark. September volumes exceeded August by 1,27,104 units, underlining the sharp sequential improvement.

Third-Quarter Sales Grow Nearly 13%

For July–September 2026, Honda recorded total two-wheeler sales of 18,28,362 units, compared with 16,18,403 units in the corresponding quarter last year. This represents growth of 12.97%, with an additional 2,09,959 vehicles.

Domestic quarterly sales increased 12.21% to 16,30,533 units from 14,53,045 units. Exports grew faster in percentage terms, rising 19.64% to 1,97,829 units against 1,65,358 units. Domestic operations accounted for 89.18% of quarterly volumes, while exports contributed 10.82%.

FY First-Half Sales Cross 34.40 Lakh Units

Honda recorded total two-wheeler sales of 34,40,072 units during April–September 2026, compared with 29,93,555 units in the corresponding period last year. This represents growth of 14.92%, with an additional 4,46,517 vehicles.

Domestic sales increased 13.50% to 30,44,072 units from 26,82,038 units. Exports grew faster at 27.12%, reaching 3,96,000 units against 3,11,517 units a year earlier. Overseas markets contributed 11.51% of Honda’s first-half volumes.

New Launches To Push Sales Further

Honda’s record sales come amid a , with the updated CB350 range, new CB500, Rebel 300, ADV160 and QC3 electric scooter expanding its reach across multiple segments. Upcoming additions such as the XR300 and locally manufactured Rebel 500 are expected to strengthen this India-made portfolio further.

These launches could help Honda attract buyers beyond its established commuter and scooter base, while supporting future export opportunities. Their contribution will build as deliveries gather pace, with the ADV160’s revised delivery timeline
