When the team was busy preparing, a snake appeared crawling on the field. This snake, which the local people call Garandia, were seen near the drains and stands of the stadium. However, this is not the first time in Sri Lanka when a snake has been seen in this stadium. Earlier, the snake has also arrived on the field during the Lanka Premier League and Sri Lanka-Bangladesh ODI match.
The field workers said that this snake is non-poisonous and usually in search of mice. Describing it as a general incident, he said that this snake is not a threat to anyone. Let me tell you, the Indian players were moving towards the nets by the center wicket when this snake was seen. But surprisingly, the players saw it with interest instead of nervous in this situation. The coaching staff and media personnel present with him were also surprised to see this scene.
