Somvati Amavasya 2026: The date of Amavasya is very sacred. This date has been dedicated to the ancestors. Amavasya of Adhikamas is considered very special, because this Amavasya comes once in three years. On this day, one gets a lot of virtue by worshiping, bathing and donating. The Amavasya which falls on Monday is known as Somvati Amavasya. According to Drik Panchang, the new moon of Adhikamas will fall on 15th June. This day is Monday, hence it will be Somvati Amavasya.

Donate these things on Somvati Amavasya
