While weekends traditionally bring higher footfall to cinemas, several recent releases have shown that weekday performance can also keep a film running for longer. Hanuman Ansh has remained in theatres for more than seven weeks and continued to record collections on its 54th day. Meanwhile, The One also posted a steady Tuesday figure, while Vibe and The Paradise followed different trajectories at the box office.
Hanuman Ansh Continues Its Long Theatrical Run
Released on August 7, 2026, Hanuman Ansh has maintained an unusually long run despite facing competition for screens during its initial phase. The film, reportedly made on a budget of around Rs 2 crore, lost several screens after its first week as larger releases entered theatres.
However, the devotional film gradually regained momentum and has now completed 54 days in cinemas. On Tuesday, it added Rs 3.10 crore to its earnings, taking its reported domestic total beyond Rs 312.38 crore.
The film’s continued performance during weekdays has helped it remain available in theatres. Its long run also indicates sustained audience interest, particularly among viewers drawn to its spiritual theme and story based around Neem Karoli Baba.
The One Maintains Steady Tuesday Business
Released on September 25, 2026, Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer The One Force of the Forest has also been showing comparatively stable movement after its opening.
The film began its theatrical journey with around Rs 8 crore and collected approximately Rs 26 crore over its first weekend. After earning Rs 5.25 crore on Monday, its Tuesday collection reportedly increased to around Rs 6 crore.
With the latest figure included, The One has crossed Rs 44.85 crore in total collections. The film’s depiction of Chhath-related songs and devotional elements has attracted attention, even though the source notes that its story and screenplay have received mixed responses.
Vibe Struggles to Maintain Its Opening Momentum
Kunal Kemmu’s Vibe, which arrived in cinemas on September 18, has had a more difficult run. The filmmaker’s previous directorial, Madgaon Express, had received a positive audience response, but Vibe has not been able to sustain similar box office momentum.
The film, featuring Preity Zinta in a leading role, opened at approximately Rs 1.70 crore. According to the reported figures, it collected only Rs 33 lakh on its 12th day, Tuesday.
The film’s total earnings have reached around Rs 14.13 crore. Its weekday numbers have remained limited after an early high point, with the reported collections largely staying below the Rs 1 crore mark.
The Paradise Crosses Rs 100 Crore
Nani’s The Paradise entered theatres on September 24 and opened strongly, although its business slowed after the initial release period. The film recorded approximately Rs 11.60 crore during its reported zero-day promotional advance period before collecting Rs 34.65 crore on its first day.
Despite that opening, the film has not maintained the same pace throughout its run. The source reports that reviews and audience feedback have been mixed, with the film’s action-focused presentation becoming a major part of its reception.
On Tuesday, The Paradise earned around Rs 4.40 crore, taking its reported total collection to approximately Rs 101.50 crore.
