Karva Chauth 2025
Every year the festival of Karva Chauth is celebrated on the Chaturthi date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month. On this day, married women fast for their husband’s long life and happiness and prosperity. By fasting Nirjala from morning, in the evening, by offering arghya to the moon, she takes the fast and fulfills the fast. This time Karva Chauth will be celebrated on 10 October 2025. Sankashti Chaturthi will also be celebrated on this day.
Dhanteras 2025
Dhanteras is also called Dhan Trayodashi which has very special significance. This day is celebrated as the first day of the Diwali festival lasting five days. Every year Dhanteras is celebrated on Trayodashi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month. On this day Lord Dhanvantari, Maa Lakshmi and God of wealth Kubera are worshiped. This year Dhanteras will be celebrated on 18 October 2025. Shani Pradosh fast will also be observed on this day.
Deepawali 2025
Every year the festival of Deepawali is celebrated on the new moon day of Kartik month. This year Diwali will be celebrated on 20 October 2025. Narak Chaturdashi will also be celebrated on this day, which is usually called Chhoti Diwali. This time both small and big Deepawali will be celebrated on the same day. On the day of Diwali, there is a law of worship of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha.
Chhath Puja 2025
Every year, Chhath Maha festival is celebrated on the Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. This festival is celebrated with reverence, especially in Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh. In Chhath Vrat, women and men keep the fast and offer arghya to Asthachal and Udayachal Surya. It is religious belief that worshiping the Sun brings child happiness and prosperity. The festival of Chhath Puja lasts for four days, which will start from 27 October 2025.
