India women’s 4x400m relay team grabbed the top of the podium with a time of 3:29.69, adding a fifth gold medal to India’s tally at the day of 10. Bahrain’s Aisha Abdullah, Sufian Abdulghani, Zainab Fyofuoba, and Salwa Eid Naser finished second to take home the silver medal with a time of 3:30.21.
China’s team of Jiang Yutong, Kong Yingying, Zhou Li, and Zuo Siyu settled for a bronze medal after finishing with a time of 3:31.02, surrendering their lead in the dying seconds of the race as India’s anchor runner surged past them.
