PM-STU Skill Development Program: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to make many big announcements for the youth of Bihar today. He will communicate virtual from Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi at 11 am and will launch youth-centric projects worth Rs 62,000 crore for students of Bihar. The goal of these initiatives is to give a strong basis to the students towards education, skill development and employment.
Chief Minister Self -help allowance scheme will also be launched
In this program, PM Modi will launch the restructured Chief Minister of Bihar, Self Help Allowance Scheme. Under this, about five lakh graduate youth will get a monthly allowance of Rs 1,000 for two years. Apart from this, free skill training and interest-free education loan up to Rs 4 lakh will also be provided to students.
PM-Setu Yojana: Can it change 1,000 ITIs?
Prime Minister Modi will also launch PM-Setu (Prime Minister Skills and Employment Change) through PM-Setu today. Under this scheme, 1,000 government ITIs across the country will be upgraded under the hub-end-spoke model, which will include 200 hub ITIs and 800 spoke ITIs. The project will prepare students for industry-relevant skills and employment opportunities.
1,200 new skills laboratories: Will students of Bihar get a new career boost?
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate 1,200 business skills laboratories in 400 Navodaya Vidyalayas in 34 states and union territories and 200 Eklavya Model Residential Schools. In these laboratories, students will be imparted practical training in 12 high-demand areas such as IT, Automotive, Agriculture, Electronics, Logistics and Tourism. Along with this, PM Modi will inaugurate Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur Kaushal University, which will give students an opportunity to create industry-oriented education and globally competitive workforce.
Scholarship and Education Loans: How many students will be benefited?
Under the Chief Minister’s Boys/Girls Scholarship Scheme, about 25 lakh students of class 9 and 10 will be given a scholarship of Rs 450 crore through direct benefits transfer. In addition, appointment letters will be distributed to more than 4,000 newly appointed candidates.

Skill convocation will also be organized in this program. In this, 46 All India Toppers of Industrial Training Institutes will be honored. This will prove to be an inspirational opportunity for students and will give them a new direction of career.
