New Delhi: On the success of Saiyaara, Mahesh Bhatt shared his happiness and some behind-the-scenes stories, where he said that he had already told his nephew Mohit Suri that the movie would be a superhit and break every record. He said this in the preview of the movie.

Mukesh Bhatt adds, ”To make a good film without a starcast that one needs to have confidence in oneself; only those who don’t have confidence in oneself will depend on stars. Stars don’t make a hit film; it is a good film that works at the box office. Aashiqui was a hit with newcomers same was the case with Aashiqui 2.”
But will Saiyaara set a precedence for those wanting to launch newcomers, Bhatt said, ”Not all films can work and music plays a big role and you know we have a good track record when it comes to music and all my films worked because the music played a big role in it And if you look at the 50 years track record of Hindi film industry the films that were blockbuster had superhit music and never there was a film that was hit with failed music,”
That brings to the question of if Aashiqui 3 will happen, to which Bhatt replied, ”I don’t know what God has in store. If the film has to happen, it will happen organically, and I am not going to make the film with stars. If anyone wants to come and do it honestly, why not? I am a very positive person. Also, the Aashiqui franchise is a newcomer franchise; it does not need stars, and both films have proved it. You must have the faith and self-confidence, only then an Aashiqui and Saiyaara happen.”
