What is being claimed in viral video?
In this video shared on a X handle named Anuska Tiwari, the video of Leh is seen as Deputy Commissioner of Police Ghulam Muhammad, who claims that Sonam Wangchuk was arrested on the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs. In the video, he says- As everyone knows that unfortunately, in the accident in Leh, 90 people were admitted to the district hospital. Of these, 4 were Death, while 7 are serious. There were 20 people in Major Trauma. I request the people of Ladakh that we were issued an order to arrest Sonam Wangchuk on behalf of the Ministry of Home Affairs. We were ordered from Amit Shah’s office that you have to accuse Sonam Wangchuk of being a Pakistan agent. I request the people of Leh not to attack our policemen. If you want to do something, go to the BJP office and talk to them. We have no role in this arrest.
