Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin’s hospitalization extends to second day: What doctors are saying

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin remains under medical care at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, for the second consecutive day after experiencing mild dizziness during his morning exercise routine yesterday. The 70-year-old leader, known for his disciplined fitness regimen, was admitted as a precautionary measure, and doctors have advised three days of complete rest. However, he continues to attend to official duties from the hospital.

MK Stalin health update: Medical Supervision and Recovery Progress

According to hospital authorities, Stalin underwent a series of routine tests to assess his condition. The medical team has not reported any serious concerns but emphasized the need for rest to ensure full recovery. In an official statement, Apollo Hospitals said, “Honorable Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is under observation and has been advised three more days of rest. He will continue discharging his responsibilities while in the hospital.”

Stalin’s family, including his wife Durga Stalin, son and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, and daughter Senthamarai Sabareesan, have been by his side. Several senior leaders from the DMK and allied parties, including Ministers Duraimurugan and Ma. Subramanian, visited the hospital to inquire about his health.

Prominent personalities such as actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan contacted the Chief Minister over the phone to convey their best wishes. Opposition leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) and former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan also expressed their concerns and prayed for his swift recovery.
