Suzuki has recently launched the new generation Swift hatchback in the global market. The new Suzuki Swift is available with three variant options, new petrol engine and hybrid technology. After the global market, Maruti Suzuki is also going to launch the new Swift in India. Testing for this car has already started.

According to the pictures, many cosmetic updates will be made in the front and back side of the sporty Suzuki Swift. The doors of the hatchback will also be given a sporty look. Apart from this, the car will be provided with new design LED headlamps, new tail lights, glossy black front skid plate and alloy wheels. The new generation Swift will be built on the updated HEARTECT platform and the new Dezire will also be based on the same platform.
Features of new Suzuki Swift
Many changes will also be seen in the interior of the new Swift, in which many things will be similar to the Front and Baleno. Dual-tone color theme will be given in the interior of the car. It will have features like 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument console, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, flat-bottom steering wheel, toggle switch for climate control.

The new Swift will be launched with petrol and hybrid powertrains. This hatchback will be provided with a 1.2 liter, DOHC, 12V engine. This setup will generate power of 82bhp at 5700rpm and peak torque of 108Nm at 4500rpm. With this, 5-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox will be provided. However, it is expected that the Indian model of the car will also come with AMT gearbox option.
