Once Shahrukh Khan came to Anupam Kher’s show. There he was asked, “Does it ever occur to you that one day your fame will be in someone else’s name, someone else will be more successful than you, someone else’s name will be in the headlines.” Answering this question, Shahrukh had said, “No, this will not happen. “To be honest, I am the last of the stars.”
Shahrukh made what he said years ago true in the year 2023 and proved that he is truly the king of Bollywood. After the film Zero released in 2018, he remained missing from the screen for almost four years. It was being said that now Shahrukh’s career is over. But in those four years, he made such preparations for his comeback that when he returned in the year 2023, it took the box office by storm. By releasing three films back to back, he made his name more than Rs 2500 crores. Now the year 2023 has ended and 2024 has started, so why not take a look at Shahrukh’s film report card of 2023.
Pathan: Date 25 January 2023. Film released Pathan. Through this film, Shahrukh did what he had dreamed of doing for years, i.e. action. King Khan did tremendous action in this film and captured the hearts and minds of people. Made with a budget of around Rs 200 crore, this film earned around Rs 1050 crore worldwide.
young: After the success of Pathan, on 7 September 2023, Shahrukh brought a film named Jawan, in which along with action, Shahrukh was seen in a double role. In terms of earnings, this film left Pathan behind and made around Rs 1150 crore at the worldwide box office.
Donkey: On December 21, 2023, the film Donkey, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, was released, in which the story of going to another country illegally i.e. Donkey Route was shown. This film did not show action like Pathan and Jawan, but there was plenty of comedy, emotions, romance and social messages. Till December 31, i.e. the last day of the year 2023, in a total of 10 days, this film made Rs 361.30 crore.

Now if we add the earnings of these three films, then in one year Shahrukh did a business of Rs 2561 crore at the box office and King Khan gave a new level to his reign.
Even though the year 2023 is over, Shahrukh’s charm is not over yet. Because only 10 days have passed since the release of Donkey, that means this film will be seen earning money at the box office in the year 2024.
