What is Khan sir coaching firing case?
- At around 10:10 pm on June 2, there was a violent clash involving stone pelting and vandalism at this institute located near Musallahpur Haat. After this incident, Patna Police registered a case and started investigating the matter.
- During the investigation, the police found a video footage, in which two people were seen firing in the air after the vandalism. Upon identification, it was found that both of them were security guards of the same institute. The police have seized their weapons and sent them to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for examination.
- On June 5, Kadamkuan police station registered an FIR against renowned teacher Faisal Khan, popularly known as “Khan Sir”, and two others.
- After this incident, heavy police force was deployed in the area on June 3 and a large number of students also gathered. Patna Police has adopted a tough stance in this matter. An appeal has been made to the students in a statement issued from the office of City SP (Central). “All students are requested not to get misled by the competition among coaching centres. There will be no compromise in controlling crime and maintaining law and order,” the statement said.
