Silver shine still remains
While gold prices have come down, silver prices have increased. The silver price in Delhi reached ₹ 1,53,100 per kg on October 3, which was ₹ 1,50,500 per kg on October 1. This is an increase of more than Rs 3,000, which shows that silver demand and prices remain strong.
Due to fluctuations in the price of gold and silver
Gold and silver prices in India depend entirely on the status of the international market. US dollar strength or weakness, changes in crude oil prices, global economic status and decisions on the US Federal Reserve affect gold and silver prices.
Apart from this, their demand increases considerably during the festive weather and wedding season in India, due to which prices keeps up rapidly. This is the reason that during festivals, fluctuations in gold and silver prices have become common.
