Tejashwi Yadav recalled the release of the caste survey report in Bihar on 2 October 2023. He attacked the BJP-RSS and demanded a nationwide ethnic census.
Patna: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has once again shown his attitude in Bihar and country politics. In his recent post shared on social media platform x, Tejashwi Yadav remembered the historic day of 2 October 2023 and explained why this day is special for him. Along with this, he launched a scathing attack on BJP and RSS. He said that on this day, as Deputy Chief Minister of the state, he completed the resolution of decades -old caste census in Bihar and conducted ethnic survey in the country and published the report.
Historical day of 2 October
Tejashwi wrote in the post that 2 October 2023 is special for him because he brought out the figures of the marginalized sections of the society through the caste census in Bihar that day. He cited the occasion, saying that his efforts strengthened the demand for caste census across the country. He clarified that his fight is not limited to Bihar only, but now his goal is to organize ethnic census across the country and to ensure justice for all social classes based on it.
BJP and RSS attacked
Tejashwi directly took a dig at the BJP and the RSS. He said that these organizations kept making statements and protest statements day and night, but due to their efforts and pressure, it was announced to make caste census across the country.
Tejashwi wrote, “Our struggle tilted this stubborn government. People with BJP and RSS, who opposed the flaws of ethnic census, have announced to implement it in the whole country. However, their intent and implementation is doubted.”
Reservation and impact on Dalit-backward class
Tejashwi also expressed displeasure over the double engine government’s anti -reservation step. He said that the BJP did not include 65% reservation extended on the basis of our report in the 9th schedule of the Constitution, which led to the attack on the rights of Dalits, backward, extremely backward and tribal classes. Tejashwi said that the move is causing loss of millions of jobs.
Stunning battle of Tejashwi
Tejashwi Yadav clarified that his fight would continue until the share in proportion to the population and social justice ensures. He said that the scope of reservation should not reach the limit of 50%, so that backward, Dalit, deprived and poor classes can get justice competent, educated and financially. Tejashwi appealed to the public for cooperation and said, “We need you all for economic and social justice. Our fight is not going to stop.”
