‘He is a fraud’: Fans slam Sai Sudharsan after he flops in Ahmedabad Test

New Delhi: Sai Sudharsan failed to continue his fine domestic run in the 1st Test match against West Indies in Ahmedabad as he scored just 7 runs in 19 balls. Picked in the squad on basis of his prowess in red-ball cricket which he has showcased in the domestic matches till now, Sudharsan struggled in front of a mediocre West Indies bowling and finally departed dejected.

After India lost their first wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal for 36 runs, the left-hander came on to the crease to support veteran KL Rahul who seemed to be in a fabulous form. But Sudharsan could not make any impact with the bat as the left hander succumbed in front of disciplined spin bowling by the visiting side.

The southpaw looked low on confidence which prompted the fans to question his placement and inclusion in the team. With some saying that he is a fraud in red-ball cricket, others said that the BCCI could have given another chance to Karun Nair who was dropped after a mediocre run on English soild earlier in the summer.

Here are some of the comments

Considering the batting position at which he came, he would not be getting many chances to prove his worth. With the first and the most perfect chance missed, the southpaw will have to look back at his style of play which was below-par on the first day at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
