10 accused arrested from six states in case of conversion of minor sisters
The Agra police on Saturday arrested 10 accused from six states in the case of kidnapping and conversion of two real minor sisters living in Sadar region of Agra. All the accused associated with the conversion gang used to make minor girls a victim of conspiracy. The police produced the accused in court, from where 10 days remand was received. This gang is different from the Chhangur Baba gang.
On 24 March 2021, two real sisters, residents of Sadar area, disappeared from the house. The Agra Police found many clues in this case. After which DGP Rajiv Krishna took cognizance of the matter. Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar and ATS together arrested two accused from Kolkata on Friday.
After this, on Saturday, the police arrested eight other accused including a young woman from different places and produced them in court. The wires of this conversion gangs are spread to many countries including America, Canada. The police have also found evidence of this gang being associated with the terrorist organization ISIS.
Talking to the media in Lucknow, DGP Rajiv Krishna said that the conversion was being done by impressing the young girls in different states, affecting the love jihad and other ways. The way of working of the gang was in the signature style of the terrorist organization ISIS. A picture of a victim involved in the arrested accused has also been revealed, in which she is seen with AK-47 after conversion and fundamentalism. This is giving indications of being associated with ISIS.
The accused were arrested after recovering both sisters
One of the two real sisters of Punjabi society, who lives in Sadar police station area, is 33 and the other is 18 years old. Seven teams were formed by Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar under the leadership of ADCP City Aditya to search for both sisters. Surveillance, cyber cell received information that both sisters were caught in the trap of conversion gangs. Police reached Barrackpore in Kolkata. He recovered information about both the sisters and recovered them. After this, the accused Shekhar Rai alias Hasan Ali, who worked in Barasat court, was arrested.
After questioning the accused, the police raided Manikrampur in Barrackpore. From there, Reet Banik alias Mohammad Ibrahim was arrested. Both the accused were produced in court. After receiving three days of transit remand, the police brought both of them to Agra. The ATS arrested Abdul Rahman, a resident of Shankarpur in Dehradun. On questioning him, it was found that he too had converted. The police then arrested seven more accused in different states.

Police made the court camp
After arrest from different states on charges of conversion, the police brought the accused to Agra. He was produced in the CJM court in Deewani at 4:35 pm on Saturday evening. There was a tight security system during this period. The civil campus was completely evacuated. Police of several police stations made a circle and produced the accused. After the appearance, the police got 10 days remand of the accused.
Advocates were also surprised to see the force
On Saturday afternoon, the SSF took the front with the police force of several police stations on Saturday afternoon in the civil campus. Police and PAC were deployed at around four in the evening. Advocates also suddenly surprised to see the heavy force and started speculating. Amidst tight security, the accused gang accused were brought to court. After being removed from the car, the police created a security cordon on both sides to bring the accused to the court premises. Police told the court that the accused have been arrested by raiding six states.
