RSS 100 years: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is celebrating its foundation day today. The Sangh was established in 1925 on the day of Vijayadashami. 2025-26 is the centenary year of the Union. The main ceremony was held at Nagpur’s Reshambagh Maidan, which attended around 21,000 volunteers.

“Gave the supreme sacrifice to save society from atrocities and injustice”
Bhagwat said that this year is the year of completion of three and a half hundred years of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji’s sacrifice. The Guru made his supreme sacrifice to save the society from atrocities and injustice. He said that the purpose of this year is to remember such a great personality. He also remembered the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and said that his contribution to the freedom struggle is invaluable. He also mentioned the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, which is an excellent example of patriotism and service.

What did Mohan Bhagwat say on Pahalgam attack?
Mohan Bhagwat in his Vijayadashami address mentioned the incident of Pahalgam. He said that 26 citizens were killed by asking religion in Pahalgam, causing a wave of grief throughout the country. He said that our army and the government gave a strong reply to this, and everyone would have to be cautious and capable of their safety. Bhagwat said that after this incident it came to light who our true friends are. He emphasized the use of indigenous products, expressing concern over America’s tariff and dependence on abroad. He said that expressing dissatisfaction in the public is not in anyone’s benefit and no great goal can be achieved from the upheaval.
He also mentioned the upheaval in neighboring countries and said that till a few years ago these areas were from our own country, so it is a matter of concern. He also appreciated the increasing flow of patriotism and faith in the new generation.
