Asian Cinemas already operates several multiplexes in Hyderabad in association with Telugu stars including Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu and Ravi Teja. Now, Megastar Chiranjeevi is reportedly looking to enter the multiplex business and is said to be in talks with Asian Cinemas.
According to reports, Chiranjeevi is planning to launch a massive cinema screen in Hyderabad, with claims that it could become one of the largest cinema screens in the world.
Hyderabad currently does not have a dedicated IMAX multiplex. Prasads IMAX, which once operated with an IMAX screen, is no longer associated with the format and currently operates as a large-format cinema.
The reported plan is to fill that gap with a giant screen measuring nearly 120 feet in width and 69 feet in height. If the project materialises as reported, it would offer Hyderabad moviegoers a large-format theatrical experience.
The proposed multiplex is reportedly planned near Gachibowli. However, Chiranjeevi is yet to make any official announcement regarding the project, and further details are awaited.
