Abhishek Bachchan joins Shah Rukh Khan for his next film ‘King’

New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan has joined Shah Rukh Khan for his next film King. The information was shared by his father Amitabh Bachchan on social media where he wrote, “One film is going to be released in a few days, ,,, and the shooting of another new film has started today film ‘KING’. My blessings Bhaiyu .. love and more.”

When he said that shooting of one more film was going on, he was probably hinting at Kaalidhar Laapata which is now slated for release on July 4.

Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan will be reuniting after last working together in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year. While in KANK, the Jr. Bachchan played Rani Mukerji’s husband who cheats on him. For Shah Rukh Khan’s King, he will most likely be playing the antagonist.

Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated King will be produced by Red Chillies and directed by Siddharth Anand. It will see Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan in it along with a galaxy of stars. The film was initially going to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh but for reasons not known has been replaced by Siddharth Anand.
