September 2026 SUV Discounts
If you are looking for a capable mid-size SUV with attractive styling and good capability, this is a deal you won’t want to miss. Renault is offering an attractive discount of up to Rs 1.8 lakh on select variants of its latest offering, the Duster. Currently, the Renault Duster is priced between Rs. 12.48 lakh and Rs. 22.09 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), without discounts. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the discount deal.
The total Rs. 1.8 lakh discount includes an upfront cash benefit of Rs. 30,000 and a scrappage/exchange bonus of up to Rs. 50,000. In addition, existing Renault customers upgrading to a Duster can get a loyalty benefit of up to Rs. 10,000. If you happen to own an older generation of the Duster, the loyalty benefit can go up to Rs. 1 lakh. This seems like Renault’s attempt to get more previous Duster owners into the dealerships.

More About The Renault Duster
The Duster is available with two engine options – a 1.0-litre three-cylinder (98.6 bhp and 166 Nm of torque) and a 1.3-litre four-cylinder unit (160 bhp and 280 Nm of torque). Both engines are turbocharged. The smaller engine is only available with a six-speed manual, while the bigger engine also gets a six-speed DCT option. The Duster is available in six trims: Authentic, Evolution, Adventure, Techno+, Iconic, and Iconic Launch Edition.
Renault Duster: Worth Buying Now?
The new-generation Duster launched in India in March 2026, with hopes of recreating the magic and cult following of the previous-generation models. However, it seems like even the Duster fanboys have moved on to different and possibly better options. In April, the Duster witnessed its highest sales figures of 2,359 units. However, Renault now seems to be struggling with the numbers, as the SUV only sold 406 units last month.
This is disappointing, as the Duster is definitely a capable product, if not the best in its segment. With 212 mm ground clearance, a powerful turbo petrol powertrain, and a good list of features, it offers a well-balanced proposition.
