New Delhi: Team India will face England in the fourth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at Old Trafford in Manchester on July 23. The hosts are leading the five-match series by 2-1. Ahead of the much-awaited game, the Men in Blue got a chance to meet with Manchester United players.

Adidas’ official handle shared the pictures on Instagram, with the likes of Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant can be seen playing football with the Red Devils, whereas star Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah can be seen having a conversation with Mason Mount and Harry Maguire, while Mohammed Siraj was seen playing cricket with former Man United skipper and star defender.

Gautam Gambhir and Ruben Amorim were also seen having a conversation with the players of both teams while the captains of both sides, Shubman Gill and Bruno Fernandes, posed for pictures. Rishabh Pant also gifted a signed bat to the Red Devils skipper.

Shubman Gill and Co. will look to level the series in Manchester after losing the third Test by just 22 runs at Lord’s, while United players have rejoined the squad for the preseason and played a goalless draw against Leeds United in Stockholm. They will tour to USA for the preseason and will take on West Ham United, Bournemouth and Everton.

Fast bowler Anshul Kamboj has reportedly been added to the Indian team as a cover for Arshdeep Singh, who suffered a deep cut in his bowling hand. According to a report by the Indian Express, Arshdeep is expected to take at least ten days to fully recover from the injury and start bowling again.

According to reports, Manchester United have agreed a deal with Brentford to sign forward Bryan Mbeumo in a £71m deal. His move to Old Trafford has entered the final stages of completion, and the forward has completed his medical and formalised the details on a long-term contract.
