Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh visit the new horizon of nation building

-Dr. Mohan Yadav

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, carrying the goal of individual, society and nation building, has completed 100 years of its establishment today. This journey of the world’s largest and unique organization is a symbol of renunciation, penance, selfless service and discipline. This journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has moved forward on the path of service, dedication and determination in many challenges and odd circumstances. This Adya Sarsanghchalak is the resolve of Param Pujya Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and the dedication of every volunteer that today the flag of the Sangh is waving all over the world.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was established under the extraordinary circumstances of the country. For the nature of India and India, more anti -India powers were active than the crisis that was from the British Raj, which was creating a vicious cycle of India’s full conversion. This can be understood by violence of Malabar, Chittagong, Karachi and Dhaka. There was also silence in the country on mass massacre of Hindus, kidnapping of women. On the one hand, the vicious cycle of society, culture and suppression of the nation was going on, on the other hand Indian society got entangled in many internal discrepancies. While public behavior like society fragmentation and untouchability was effective, self -respect was losing somewhere in Indian society. The idea of considering the chains of slavery as its destiny was also becoming effective.

With childhood, all these incidents were raising all these incidents to the mind of the rich doctor of special talent dedicated to the nation and cultural pride. Dr. Hedgewar was the leading fighter of the freedom struggle. He also went to jail in the non -cooperation movement. Along with participation in the freedom struggle of India from slavery, he also pledged to run a cultural and national awakening campaign in India. He realized that India cannot achieve its pride again until the feeling of self is awakened in the heart of every Indian. Dr. Ji discussed with the devoted personalities dedicated to the then cultural values and selected the date of Vijayadashami for the establishment of the Sangh.

In the year 1925, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh came into existence on Vijayadashami. The aim of the establishment of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is clear in determining this date. The date of Vijayadashami and this festival gives the message of selfish struggle, establishment of truth, protecting religion and renaissance of human values. This message lies in the entire centenary journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

There were two major features of this centenary journey of the Sangh. One is the tooth loyalty of the Sangh, only the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the world is the only organization that is adamant on its goal and is constantly expanding. The second feature is of the attacks on the Union. There were fatal attacks on volunteers with ideological, political attacks on the Sangh. But there was no obstruction of the Sangh’s goal journey. Three times after independence, the Sangh was banned. Volunteers were tortured by falsely implicating Gandhiji’s murder. The ban and harassment during the Emergency also faced the Sangh volunteers. The Sangh was banned even after the Ayodhya incident in 1992. Union campaigners are still being attacked in provinces like Kashmir, Kerala, West Bengal etc. But the Sangh never stopped, not tired and no volunteer was distracted.

Ujjain, the Gaurav city of Madhya Pradesh, also has its own contribution in this centenary journey of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The union work in Madhya Pradesh expanded from two directions. One from Nagpur towards Mahakaushal and the other from Nagpur towards Malwa. Ujjain, the Gaurav city of Malwa region, is the place where the Sangh work sprouted in the 1940s to the 1940s itself. Ujjain’s role was important in the expansion from Bhopal to Neemuch and from Indore to Madhya Bharat. It is participated in the Hyderabad movement in the Hyderabad movement in 1936 and the participation of Ujjain in the Hyderabad movement and later in Junagadh, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Ujjain Nagar in the Goa Mukti movement in the pages of history. The volunteers of Ujjain were also sacrificed in Dadra Nagar Haveli and Goa Mukti Movement. It is a matter of pride for all of us that the volunteers of the Sangh have worked with complete dedication to the independence movement, service of the masters in the pain of division, internal disturbance and complete dedication to the nation defense in every war. Many times I feel proud to think that through the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, I became a participant of a resolution journey which is moving forward with the goal of the ultimate glory of the nation of India.

The biggest feature of this centenary journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is that innumerable personalities came forward in the form of campaigners, but no one did not exist nor life nor life. All of them were absorbed in the foundation of nation building. The Sangh has touched the dimension of society and national life in this centenary year journey. In this work, from the branch to the gate and then the farm has also been contacted. That is why the Sangh work has become so widespread today. Union work is not only organizational expansion, it is practice- of personality building, society building and nation building. That is why the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is not celebrating its centenary celebrations as a celebration. The event is in the form of resolution day for the ultimate splendor of the nation and the cultural restoration of India in the world.

Honorable Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat ji has called for punch change in society with the aim of accelerating positive changes in Indian society and increasing the sense of discipline and patriotism in the society. This punch change includes five dimensions of self -realization i.e. indigenous, civilian duties, environment, social harmony and family enlightenment. In this, citizens will be aware of their duties with the sense of self. The nation will be prosperous and advanced by following civil duties i.e. law. Social harmony and social distinction will end the distinction. The environment will conserve the creation and the family will enrich the family and the values will increase in the children. To implement the punch change in the society, all we Indian citizens will have to make efforts together.

This message is visible in the address of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Modi has issued special postage stamps and memory coins on the Sangh’s Shatabdi visit. There is a national symbol on the one side of the 100 rupee coin and on the other hand, with lion, the gorgeous image of Bharat Mata in Varadi Mudra and the volunteers show him with a dedication.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has been engaged in work without tired, without stopping, nation service for 100 years. This dedicated journey inspires us to work. On the occasion of the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, India has entered the era of Amrit period. Honorable Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat ji has given the sources of society building, inspired by this, various dimensions of construction are likely to be developed. By assimilating it, we can play an important role in establishing our state and our nation on the world stage.
