In a recent interview with a media portal, Rohit Saraf has revealed that he made his Bollywood debut with Dear Zindagi amid rumours of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari being his first Bollywood film.
The actor mentioned his age at that time as he played Alia Bhatt character’s younger brother.
Rohit Saraf talks about his actual debut film
While talking to SCREEN, Rohit Saraf explained, “My debut was actually with Dharma,” as he mentioned that he was 18 years of age when he played Alia Bhatt’s younger brother in the 2016 release Dear Zindagi.
“I remember each day on set. It was very special an experience because I absolutely love Alia as an actor. She’s absolutely incredible. For me, it was an exciting project to be a part of because of the sheer people attached to it. I had the best time shooting. One of the most striking things I remember from the set is Gauri Shinde ma’am saying, ‘I want to adopt Rohit’,” Rohit further added.
On whether he could meet Shah Rukh Khan during the film’s shoot
Rohit revealed that he could not get a chance to shoot with the OG superstar, “That never happened. But I did get a picture with him at the cast and crew screening. So, I was very happy about that.”
