The government has indicated that about eight lakh employees will get bonus before Deepawali. Its maximum limit can be fixed at Rs 7000. The order is likely to be released by the second week of October.

Who will get bonus on Diwali in UP

The benefit of bonus will not be limited only to non -gazetted state employees, but daily salaried and workcharge employees will also come under the purview of this decision. This means that small level employees and temporary staff will also benefit from this scheme. At present, the Finance Department is preparing a paper and orders will be issued after approval.

Know how the bonus amount will be divided?

The amount received to the employees will be according to their category, which will be fixed from Rs 3400 to Rs 7000. Out of this, half the amount received to non -gazetted employees will be deposited directly in the GPF account, while the remaining half will come to the bank account. The government believes that this process will also meet the immediate needs of employees and their savings will also be ensured.

This decision of the government will put a burden of more than Rs 1000 crore on the treasury of the state.
