After the last two films of this franchise, preparations for its third part are now going on. Meanwhile, it is reported that the makers of Drishyam 3 are going to release an announcement teaser related to the movie. According to the latest reports, a promo of 1 minute 17 seconds of Drishyam 3 has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The director of the film is Abhishek Pathak.
When will the announcement teaser of Drishyam 3 come
According to the report of Sacnilk.com, the announcement teaser of Ajay Devgan’s film Drishyam 3 will be revealed on 2 October i.e. Gandhi Jayanti. This date is special because it is deeply associated with the story of the franchise. This time in the film, some new faces may also be seen with the old starcast. It will be accompanied by Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrinal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor and Kamlesh Sawant, Akshay Khanna. The makers have fixed the official release of Drishyam 3 on October 2, 2026. Work on the film will start in the beginning of October and the shooting of the film will continue. It is being told that the new film story will start right from where the Drishyam 2 was over, it will be made the banners of Panorama Studio, Viacom 18 Studio and T-Series. Interestingly, the shooting of Mohanlal and Jeetu Joseph directed Malayalam version has also started. There are reports that both versions of the film can be released simultaneously. However, no official announcement has been made by the makers about this at present.

Ajay Devgan’s first film of Drishyam franchise was released in 2015. Directed by Nishikant Kamat, it was a crime thriller film, which was a remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam film in 2013. Ajay Devgan, Tabu and Shriya Saran were in the lead roles in it. Made in a budget of 62 crores, the film did a business of 197 crores. In 2022, its sequel came under the name of Drishyam 2. Director Abhishek Pathak’s film was a sequel to the 2021 Malayalam film. In this, Akshaye Khanna was also seen with the previous starcast. The film, with a budget of 70 crores, did a business of 345 crores. Now its third part is coming in the name of Drishyam 3, which will be released in 2026.
