Conspiracy or something else… who is defaming Indian Railways?

Recently it was found that suddenly news started appearing on social media about the most popular train of Indian Railways. This is not a positive but a negative post was seen on social media. Most of the posts in this were regarding Vande Bharat train. When the Railways investigated it, it was found that no such complaint had been made. Posted only to spread confusion on social media.

The matter did not end here, an investigation was started by the Railways as to whether there really were any such complaints regarding the kind of posts being written on social media. During investigation, it was found that everyone has made the same complaint, only the names of those posting are different. Besides this, their stations are also different.

Railways tightened its grip

An FIR has been lodged by Indian Railways against those making such fake posts. Although this FIR has been filed against unknown people, but if sources are to be believed, soon the investigators will be able to reach those people who have committed such acts. Railways has warned that in future too, strict legal action will be taken against people spreading fake and misleading information on social media.

According to information received from the Railways, posts were being made from some social media handles with almost identical language, similar pictures and similar claims regarding bad food and bad travel experience in Vande Bharat trains. The names of different trains and routes were changed, but the pictures and content were almost the same.

Railway officials claim that this campaign was being carried out in a planned manner to tarnish the image of Indian Railways and especially Vande Bharat trains. Railways says that such posts work to spread confusion and distrust among passengers. Railways has clearly stated that deliberately spreading false and misleading information on social media is not only an attempt to damage the reputation of any public institution, but it also creates unnecessary fear and confusion among the passengers.
