Maa Durga Visarjan 2025: Durga immersion is a special festival of conclusion of Navratri. For nine days of Navratri, the mother Durga is immersed on the Dashami date after methodically worshiping the nine forms of Maa Durga. It is also called Vijayadashami. On this day, devotees immerse the idols and kalash (Ghatasthapana) of Mata Rani and bid farewell to the mother and pray for the next year.

Durga immersion method
Take a bath in the morning on the day of Dashami and take a pledge to fast.

Offer flowers, roli, akshat, incense-lamp and naivedya and get blessings from the mother.
Devotees apologize to the mother and pray again next year.
