Pop star Justin Bieber marked his wedding anniversary with wife Hailey Bieber with a romantic social media tribute, telling her, “8 years until infinity.”
Justin shared a series of photographs on Instagram featuring the couple playing snooker together. In his accompanying message, the singer expressed his love for Hailey while celebrating their relationship and looking ahead to the future.
“8 years until infinity NEW BEGINNINGS. I love you baby Happy Anniversary,” he wrote.
Justin and Hailey got engaged in July 2018 after being friends for several years. They reportedly obtained a marriage licence in September that year, prompting reports that they had entered into a civil marriage. In November 2018, Justin publicly referred to himself as married to Hailey Baldwin.
The couple later held an official wedding ceremony in South Carolina in 2019. They welcomed their son on August 23, 2024.
Before his relationship with Hailey, Justin was involved in an on-and-off relationship with singer and actress Selena Gomez. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Bieber said his songs “Sorry”, “Mark My Words” and “What Do You Mean?” were inspired by his relationship with Gomez.
Bieber rose to international prominence in the late 2000s after talent manager Scooter Braun discovered him. His debut EP, My World, established him as a global teen idol.
His debut studio album, My World 2.0, reached No. 1 on the US Billboard 200, making Bieber the youngest solo male artist to achieve the feat in 47 years. The album’s lead single, “Baby”, went on to become one of the best-selling singles in the United States.
Bieber followed it with Under the Mistletoe, which became the first Christmas album by a male artist to debut at No. 1. With Believe and its acoustic re-release, he became the first artist in Billboard chart history to have five US No. 1 albums by the age of 18.
