Akanksha Chamola has sparked fresh speculation about her relationship with actor Gaurav Khanna after unfollowing her estranged husband on Instagram and removing their pictures from her social media account.
The move comes months after Akanksha publicly revealed during her appearance on the reality show Lock Upp – Sach Ya Sazaa that she and Gaurav had been living separately for a year and had decided to divorce.
While Akanksha has now stopped following Gaurav and removed their photographs from her Instagram profile, Gaurav has not publicly commented on the latest development. He continues to follow Akanksha on Instagram and has retained his pictures with her on his account.
When Akanksha entered Lock Upp, she surprised viewers by revealing on the first day that she and Gaurav were heading for a divorce after living separately for around a year.
“Gaurav Khanna and I are getting divorced. We have been living separately for the past one year. People don’t know about this yet. This is a decision we have both taken. We have been talking about it for the past one year,” she had said.
Akanksha had also clarified that there was no bitterness between them and said they continued to communicate despite realising that they wanted different things from life.
“There is nothing bad between Gaurav and me. We still talk to each other, but we feel that we are not right for each other as partners. That is because we both want different things in life,” she said.
Gaurav later visited Akanksha during an episode of the reality show, where the two discussed the impact of her public revelation on their lives outside the programme.
Akanksha is currently living with her parents at their Mumbai residence and has said that she plans to move into her own home soon.
For now, neither Akanksha nor Gaurav has issued a fresh public statement on the latest social media changes.
