India To Face Pakistan Again After Thrashing Them In Asia Cup 2025

India thrashed Pakistan thrice en route to their title win in the Asia Cup 2025. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side defeated UAE, Pakistan and Oman in the league stage.

India kicked off the Super stage with another win over Pakistan. They chased down the target of 147 in the final to register their third consecutive win over the Men in Green. India are now a nine-time Asia Cup champions. They have lifted the ODI Asia Cup title seven times and the T20 Asia Cup title on two occasions.

After defeating them thrice in two weeks, India will once again face Pakistan. The Indian women’s cricket team will lock horns with the Pakistan women’s cricket team in the sixth match of the Women’s ODI World Cup on Sunday (October 5). The fixture will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo from 3:00 PM IST.

Pakistan will not travel to India and will play all their matches in Sri Lanka. The semi-final and final will also be played in Sri Lanka if Pakistan manage to make it to that stage.

Women’s World Cup to kick off on September 30

The Women’s ODI World Cup will kick off on September 30, with India hosting Sri Lanka in the tournament opener. The first game will be played in Guwahati. Pakistan will play their first game of the tournament against Bangladesh on October 2.

After facing Sri Lanka and Pakistan in their first two matches, Harmanpreet Kaur-led India will take on South Africa on October 9 in Vizag. They will lock horns with reigning World Champions Australia on October 12.

The Women in Blue will face England, New Zealand and Bangladesh in their last three matches on October 19, 23 and 26, respectively. The two semi-finals are scheduled for October 29 and 30. The final of the Women’s ODI World Cup will be played on November 2.
