Bharatiya Janata Party announced the name of the Chief Minister on Sunday after securing an unexpected victory in Chhattisgarh. Vishnudev Sai, MLA from Kankuri seat, will be the new CM of Chhattisgarh. Vishnudev will take oath as Chief Minister on December 13 at 2 pm at the Science College grounds in Raipur. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many senior BJP leaders will also participate on this special occasion.
After the name of Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh was announced on Sunday evening, Vishnudev Sai met Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan at Raj Bhavan and staked claim to form the government. Let us tell you that Vishnudev Sai has won the election from Kunkuri Assembly. He defeated Ud Minj of Congress by more than 25 thousand votes. In the assembly elections, Vishnudev had secured 87604 votes while Ud Minj had secured 62063 votes. Vishnudev has also been the President of Chhattisgarh BJP.

MP elected four times from Raigarh Lok Sabha seat
Vishnudev Sai has been elected MP from Raigarh Lok Sabha seat four times. Along with this, he has also been a minister in the Modi cabinet. The new CM of Chhattisgarh belongs to the Kanwar tribe of the tribal society. The party high command has chosen Vishnudev Sai for CM considering his clean image. Seats registered on 54 out of 90 assembly seats
The results of 90 assembly seats of Chhattisgarh came on 3 December. BJP achieved an unexpected victory in this assembly election and captured 54 seats. In this election, BJP got a good lead on tribal seats, due to which BJP achieved a big victory. Here, out of 29 seats reserved for ST, BJP has captured 17 seats.
