Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said on Sunday that the coming Simhastha-2028 will be such a wonderful confluence of Indian culture and spirituality, which the whole world will see. The government is constantly taking big steps to give Ujjain a new identity on the country and the world map. The CM performed Bhoomi Pujan of 11 development works costing about Rs 370 crore in Ujjain and laid the foundation stone of the 7 -storey Joint Administrative Building. Apart from this, he also made major announcements regarding the Shipra River, major temples and connectivity of the city.
After all, why is Simhastha 2028 and why will the world wait for it?
Simhastha Mahakumbh is considered to be the largest spiritual fair in the whole world, not only India. Millions of devotees come to Ujjain every 12 years in Simhastha. But Simhastha of 2028 will be different and historical in many ways.
- The government has approved 33 big projects worth Rs 2675 crore for this.

The Chief Minister said that along with preparations for Simhastha, major temples of Ujjain will also be expanded. The development works associated with Lord Mahakal Temple, Kalabhairav and Garhkalika Marg will further strengthen the religious identity of Ujjain.
7-storey new symbol of new administrative building-governance
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan of the Joint Administrative Building to be built at a cost of Rs 135 crore in Ujjain. This building will be completely sophisticated and will become an example of public welfare.

- New residential buildings will also be built for officers.

Metro, bridges and roads-will the body of Ujjain change?

- A new bridge of 27 crore on Shipra River.
- A new 4 lane bridge of 17.69 crore parallel to the railway bridge near Lalpul.
- 13.96 crore two -lane bridge on Kalabhairav temple route.
- 200 -bed new hospital (at a cost of 24.08 crores).
- New Circuit House (49.10 Crore) in Mullapura.
Ujjain gets gift on Navratri
On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan of 11 development works with an amount of about Rs 370 crore. These include new joint administrative buildings, bridges, rest houses and hospitals.
