125 units free electricity proposal in Nitish cabinet passes, know when the scheme will be implemented – News Himachali News Himachali

In Bihar, a plan to provide free electricity to domestic electricity consumers up to 125 units was approved. 3797 crore additional amount was sanctioned in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday.

Those consuming more than 125 units will continue to get electricity at the same rate as before.

In August, people will be reduced to 125 units and will be given electricity bill. Consumers of smart prepaid meters will be adjusted up to one hundred and fifty units. Fixed charges will not be charged up to a hundred and fifty units. They will get zero electricity bill.

Giving information about the decision of the cabinet in Vidyut Bhawan, Energy Plan and Development Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav said that all one crore 86 lakh 60 thousand domestic electricity consumers will benefit from this decision of the government. There are one crore 67 lakh 94 thousand consumers consuming electricity up to 125 units in Bihar. They will not have to pay any money.

In the next three years, solar energy plants will also be installed on the roofs of the house of all domestic consumers. The government will pay the entire cost of the poor family. The government will also provide help to other people. For the first time in Bihar, people will get 125 units of electricity free. The churning has started on what will be the rate of electricity per unit after 125 units.

In the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, the formation of a high -level committee was approved to create 1 crore new jobs and employment opportunities in the state in the next 5 years. This committee will be chaired by the Development Commissioner.

A total of 30 agendas were approved in the meeting. An important decision among them was announced to be given an additional Rs 6,000 in addition to annual honorarium to BLO and BLO supervisors engaged in voter list verification. For this, the government approved the expenditure of 51 crore 68 lakh 40 thousand rupees.
