According to the police, Rohit Godara was planning to kill Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi for a long time, but he was not getting the chance. Therefore, he used Naveen Shekhawat, close to Gogamedi, as bait. Naveen Shekhawat, living in Shahpura, used to do clothes business and attend the meetings of Gogamedi. Rohit Godara used his identity, so his shooters were easily able to enter Gogamedi’s house.

Police said that on the instructions of Rohit Godara, Naveen had hired Scorpio from a rental company. The attackers had reached Gogamedi’s house in this Scorpio. Naveen himself had driven this car. Seeing him on the driving seat, the security personnel of Gogamedi did not do much investigation and allowed him inside. According to the police, it is not yet clear whether Nitin Shekhawat had relations with Rohit Rathod and Nitin Fauji or not. At present, the police is trying to find answers to these questions by interrogating the arrested criminals.
