Nawazuddin Siddiqui, one of Bollywood’s most respected actors, is now drawing attention not just for his own craft-but for his daughter Shora Siddiqui’s budding talent.
A recent audition video of Shora has gone viral, sparking a wave of admiration and speculation that she might soon outshine established young actresses like Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.
Currently studying acting in London, Shora is clearly following in her father’s footsteps, though carving out her own identity along the way. Her audition video, which Nawazuddin proudly shared on his Instagram account on July 14, has impressed viewers with her raw confidence and screen presence. The video shows Shora performing a scene in English alongside another actor, and she delivers her lines with striking emotion and poise.
Nawazuddin captioned the post with a simple, “Can I come in… Scene One,” letting his daughter’s performance speak for itself. But social media certainly didn’t hold back. The comments section flooded with praise:
