Ramban Kuan and Sita Bawdi
According to a legend, when Sita Mata was thirsty, Lord Rama removed a stream by hitting an arrow in the ground. This stream later started gathering inside a well, which later became known as Ramban Kuan. At present, this well has been secured from the walls, so that the devotees can still see this miraculous water. Not only this, there is also a Sita Bawdi, whose history is associated with Sita Maiya. Local people believe that Sita Mata took a bath in this stepwell, since then it has been named Sita Bawdi. These water sources are not only important for natural beauty, but also the center of religious faith.
Rameshwar Mahadev Temple
Lord Shri Ram himself was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, but he was also a Shiva worshiper. Wherever he went, he continued his worship. There is also a temple dedicated to Mahadev established by Lord Rama on Rameshwar Kund, where even today devotees reach for worship.
Sevadars say that the divine Shiva lingam in this temple was established himself by Lord Shri Ram, and since then he is called Rameshwar Mahadev. Thousands of devotees come to visit this Tretayugin Rameshwar temple on Shravan month and Mahashivaratri and receive the blessings of Lord Shiva. This temple not only holds religious significance, but is also a beautiful example of ancient Indian architecture.
