WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah mocks Haris Rauf with ‘plane crash’ celebration after dismissing him in Asia Cup final

New Delhi: Team India pacer Jasprit Bumrah gave it back to Haris Rauf in style as he mocked the Pakistan pacer with a ‘plane-crash’ celebration after dismissing him during the Asia Cup 2025 final between the two sides in Dubai on Sunday. Bumrah cleaned up Rauf with a lethal yorker before doing a dipping-flight gesture to give him an epic send-off.

The dismissal took place on the penultimate delivery of the 18th over. Bumrah’s yorker rattled Rauf’s stumps before the Indian pacer pulled off his ‘plane-crash’ celebration to mock the Pakistani pacer. Bumrah’s celebration was in response to Rauf’s plane gestures during the Super 4 match between India and Pakistan earlier in the tournament.

Rauf was spotted making ‘plane-crashing’ gestures while fielding on the boundary line during the Super 4 game between India and Pakistan. His gestures were deemed provocative in nature, and the Pakistan pacer was fined 30 per cent of his match fees for his actions. He was also reprimanded by the ICC match referee, but pleaded ‘not guilty’ during an ICC hearing on September 26.
