Filmmaker Aditya Dhar has lent his support to Vishal Chaturvedi’s Hanuman Ansh as the devotional drama continues to maintain momentum at the box office. Dhar recently took to Instagram to share a poster from the film featuring lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa, while also tagging director Chaturvedi. Rather than accompanying the post with a long message, Aditya Dhar used an Om symbol, folded hands and a red heart to express his appreciation for the film. His understated social media gesture has nevertheless drawn attention, coming at a time when Hanuman Ansh is sustaining its theatrical run well into its fifth week.

The film’s latest ticket-sale figures indicate that ‘s audience pull has remained strong even several weeks after its release. According to BookMyShow data shared by the makers, Hanuman Ansh created a notable benchmark by becoming the first film to sell more than five lakh tickets on its fifth Saturday. The movie reportedly sold 5.14 lakh tickets on its fifth Saturday, surpassing the corresponding ticket-sale figures recorded by several other successful theatrical titles, including Dhurandhar, Chhaava, Mahavatar Narsimha and Laalo. The figure adds another milestone to what has emerged as an unusually sustained theatrical run for the devotional drama.

The makers have also highlighted  on its fifth Friday. As per the collection rankings shared by the team, the film reportedly registered Rs 12 crore on the day. Dhurandhar followed with Rs 8.50 crore, while Chhaava collected Rs 6.50 crore. Stree 2 and Dhurandhar 2 reportedly recorded Rs 3.25 crore and Rs 2.50 crore, respectively.

Aditya Dhar’s public show of support comes amid this continued theatrical performance and puts the spotlight on Chaturvedi’s work once again. Dhar, known for films such as Uri: The Surgical Strike and the upcoming Dhurandhar franchise, sharing the Hanuman Ansh poster has added another talking point around the film.

Dhurandhar 2 was mounted on a significantly higher budget, with reports putting its individual production cost at around Rs 125 crore. Based on the figures currently being reported, the film delivered an impressive profit of nearly 1,000 per cent.

However, Hanuman Ansh has achieved an even more striking return because of its exceptionally low production cost. With its theatrical earnings already crossing 20 times its reported Rs 2-crore budget, the film’s profit percentage is nearing the 2,000 per cent mark, making its box-office performance an extraordinary case of profitability.
