Muzammil Ibrahim on Working With Salman Khan: ‘I Have Been Idolising Him Since Childhood’

Actor Muzammil Ibrahim is set to share the screen with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming action entertainer, tentatively titled ‘SVC63’.

Speaking to IANS, Muzammil opened up about the experience of working with Salman and revealed that the actor has been an inspiration to him since childhood.

Recalling his mother’s reaction, Muzammil said it was a significant moment for him to work with someone he had idolised for years.

The actor added that although he had some common friends with Salman and had met him previously in formal settings, he had always wanted their association to happen professionally. He said he felt fortunate when Paidipally approached him for a role in the film.

Muzammil admitted that working alongside an actor he had admired for so long was initially a “fanboy moment”. However, he said that once filming began, his focus shifted entirely to the performance.

He explained that the admiration naturally takes a back seat when the director calls “action”, as he approaches everyone on set simply as an actor, regardless of their stature.

‘SVC63’ marks Paidipally’s Bollywood debut and features southern star Nayanthara as part of the principal cast. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Salman and Nayanthara.

The yet-untitled action entertainer is expected to arrive in theatres during Eid 2027.
