According to official data released at 9:00 AM, several key dams are currently discharging large volumes of water due to rising inflow. The Jayakwadi Dam, which received around 150 mm of rainfall in its catchment area, is releasing 1,25,000 cusecs of water into the Godavari River. Authorities have warned that the discharge could rise to 1.5 lakh cusecs, depending on continued rainfall.

Meanwhile, the Majalgaon Dam has reduced its outflow to 41,701 cusecs, a significant drop from its earlier release of 95,000 cusecs.

In regions like Dharashiv, Ahilyanagar, and Beed, the Seena Kolegaon area is witnessing discharge levels of around 75,000 cusecs. However, some parts have seen the rate drop slightly to around 60,000 cusecs.

The Ujani Dam is also contributing to the water discharge scenario, currently releasing 1 lakh cusecs.

The state government has reiterated its appeal to residents, particularly those living in low-lying or riverbank areas, to stay alert, avoid venturing near water bodies, and follow all safety advisories issued by the district administration and disaster management teams.
