TWO Terrorists Killed in Kupwara: Security forces thwarted infiltration attempts in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. Two terrorists were killed in this action. The incident occurred during an anti -infiltration campaign at Hyder Chowki located in Karen sector of Kupwara district of North Kashmir on Sunday morning. A senior police officer said that the security forces have taken action to stop the group of terrorists who came to infiltrate.
Search operation continues amid tight security
During the shootout, two terrorists were killed near Hyder Chowki. The slain terrorists are being identified. Seeing the threat of firing from across the border, security forces are conducting a search operation amid tight security. The identity and organization of the terrorists killed so far has not been revealed.

Second encounter between army and terrorists in 8 days
Let us know that this is the second encounter between the army and the terrorists in the last 8 days. Earlier on September 20, an encounter with terrorists took place in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, in which two policemen, including a soldier martyr and SPO, were injured. The encounter took place in the Sojadhar forests under Dudu-Basantgarh and Doda. Apart from this, two soldiers were also martyred in an encounter during Operation Guddar in Kulgam on 8 September. These included Lansnayak Narendra Sindhu and Para Commando Prabhat Gaur. Two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants were also killed in that encounter.
