Doctors initially cited hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (thickening of the heart muscle) in the post -mortem report, but in August 2024 it was confirmed that Ruby died due to Sandan Eridmi Death Syndrome (SADS).

He had never had a serious health problem. His sudden death shook the whole family. In memory of his wife, Dell is now working to make people aware of SADS. He has funded by participating in the Great North Run (2024), London Marathon and now in the ultramenthan to be held in October 2025. Their aim is not to take this disease lightly and get it checked in time. He said that this disease is not limited to the elderly only. Children and youth can also be vulnerable to it. What is SADS Disease
SADS (Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes) is a condition when the heartbeat suddenly becomes dangerously uncommon and not getting timely treatment can cause a person to die. Often it is also caused by genetic reasons.

Symptoms in children and youth
Sometimes it is found in children and youth for genetic reasons. They can have symptoms:

- Causing fatigue or weakness
When should it be alert?
- Someone in the family died in a sudden sleep
- There should be a history of heart problem or cardiac arrest at an early age
- There is fainting or chest pain while exercising.

After Ruby’s death, both her young children Arthur (5) and Vinifred (3) have been referred to the cardiology department. Doctors will keep them under lifelong surveillance so that any danger can be avoided in time.
