Korba. Under Good Governance Tihar 2026, which is being organized with the aim of taking government schemes directly to the villagers and ensuring quick resolution of their problems, a public problem solving camp was organized in Gram Panchayat Mudapar under Pali development block of Korba district. In the camp, a large number of villagers presented their problems and demands to the administration, out of which hundreds of cases were resolved on the spot. This camp was not just a platform to listen to the complaints, but emerged as an effective initiative to connect the villagers with government schemes and take the administration to the doorstep of the public.

The event was organized in the presence of MLA Premchand Patel.

Public problem solving camp was organized under the chief hospitality of Katghora MLA Shri Premchand Patel. On this occasion, District Panchayat Vice President Mrs. Nikita Mukesh Jaiswal, District Panchayat President Mrs. Purnima Shobha Jagat and many public representatives and administrative officers were present. During the camp, officials listened to the problems of the villagers and detailed information about government schemes was given to the people through stalls set up by various departments.

1065 applications received, immediate resolution of 238

A total of 1065 applications regarding demands and complaints related to various departments were received in the camp. Taking prompt action by the administration, 238 applications were resolved on the spot. Officials said that the remaining applications are being examined department-wise and their quick resolution will be ensured as per the prescribed procedure. The villagers expressed satisfaction over getting the solution on the spot and described this initiative as useful for the common people.

Beneficiaries got the benefits of the schemes

During the camp, many eligible beneficiaries were also provided benefits of various government schemes. Under District Panchayat Pali:

  • Ration card was distributed to a beneficiary.
  • Pension sanction order handed over to an eligible person.
  • Hearing aids were provided to three disabled beneficiaries.
  • A walking stick was given to a beneficiary.

Apart from this, Annaprashan program was also organized for small children, in which nutritious food was introduced to the newborns and infants.

Information about schemes given to villagers

Health, Women and Child Development, Panchayat and Rural Development, Food, Social Justice, Agriculture and other departments set up their stalls in the camp. Through these stalls, villagers were given information about eligibility, application process and benefits of government schemes. This helped people to connect with various schemes and take benefits of them.

What is the purpose of Good Governance Tihar?

Addressing the program, MLA Premchand Patel said that the main objective of Good Governance Tihar is to extend the benefits of public welfare schemes of the government to the last person and ensure timely resolution of people’s problems. He said that district and block level officials are directly reaching the villages and listening to the problems of the people. This is strengthening the communication between the administration and the general public and the benefits of the schemes are reaching the people more effectively.

He appealed to the villagers to get information about the government schemes and improve their living standards by taking advantage of them as per their eligibility.

Such camps organized under Good Governance Tihar are working to strengthen the reach of administration in rural areas. People’s trust in the governance system is increasing due to the solution of problems and distribution of benefits of schemes at the village level. This camp organized at Mudapar also proved to be an important step in this direction, where not only the problems of the people were heard but in many cases immediate relief was also provided.
