BJP has registered a big victory in the assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh. Now a churning is going on in the state regarding the face of the Chief Minister. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has given a big statement. He has said that I was not and am not a contender for the post of Chief Minister. CM Shivraj said that I am a worker. In this regard, whatever work BJP gives me, I will do that work with great honesty.

In MP Assembly elections, BJP has won 163 out of 230 seats. At the same time, Congress was limited to only 66 seats. In an interview given to news agency ANI, CM Shivraj said, “Modi ji is our leader. It is a privilege to work with him. It is a matter of great fortune that I am a BJP worker. I am deeply grateful to the people. I worked as much as I could.”

Let us tell you that CM Shivraj has emerged as the hero of BJP’s victory in this election. 64 year old Shivraj has once again registered a spectacular victory by defeating the anti-incumbency wave in the state. The most talked about scheme behind this victory of BJP is ‘Laadli Brahmin’, which is considered a game changer. However, the party did not present him as the chief ministerial face before the elections.

Shivraj created history

Shivraj Singh Chauhan, born in a farmer family, has created history by holding the post of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the longest period i.e. 16 years and 9 months. He has become the Chief Minister of the state four times and now he can take command of the state once again. Shivraj’s name is on top in the list of CM contenders.

Shivraj became Chief Minister for the first time in 2005

Shivraj Singh Chauhan became the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the first time on 29 November 2005. Under the leadership of Shivraj, BJP formed the government with an overwhelming majority in the 2008 and 2013 assembly elections. After this, in the 2018 elections, the party selected him for the post of CM, but this time the party did not do so.
